Informed Consent, Confidentiality and the use of Technology in Social Work, #2347 is approved by the Association of Social Worker Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education(ACE) program to be offered by Our Healing Circles, LLC as an individual course. Regulatory boards are final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE course approval period: 8/30/2025- 8/30/2027. Social Workers completing this course receive 3 Ethics Continuing Education credits.

Emergency Situations: In cases of life-threatening emergencies including but not limited to a reported plan to commit suicide, homicide or when you are a danger to self or others.
Suspicion of abuse, neglect or exploitation of a child, the elderly or an incapacitated adult. In these cases, I am required by Maryland and DC law to immediately make a report and provide relevant information to Child Protective Service or Adult Protective Services.

About Me
Michelle. N. Maringe, LICSW, LCSW-C
I’m a Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with emerging adults and adults as they make strides towards gaining emotional wellness, enhancing or building relationships, coping with stressors and life changes. Our work in therapy begins with you (the expert of your life) teaching me about your concerns and desired outcome. Together we will explore the concerns and the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Understanding behavioral patterns can be the first step towards liberation, healing, wellness and a future that you desire.
